The "Youth Leading Change" program combines increased studies for matriculation in small study groups and comprehensive preparation for military service. The program exists during the school year and is intended for students in grades 11-12. The duration of the program is two years and the working hours are three times a week, in the afternoon.
The studies and assimilation of the messages will be conducted in an experiential way through tours and knowledge of the country, trips, social evenings, community volunteering and social integration. Graduates of the program went out with a toolbox for command and control, with the personal experience of each trainee. Every trainee is committed to volunteering in the community in order to become familiar with the complexity of Israeli society.
In addition to the "Leading Change" youth program, the participants will learn safety and safety principles and will take theoretical studies in cooperation with Or Yarok. The graduates of the program will receive a driving license funded by the association.
The goals of the program are to increase the number of students who completed their matriculation exams from the city of Ashkelon, a significant increase in the percentage of those enlisting in the IDF, a significant increase of those who enlisted in combat service, officer and command courses, and their integration into the local leadership after they complete their military service.
